Himachal Pradesh Floods

Incessant rains in Himachal Pradesh have caused severe flash floods and landslides, with rivers like the Beas flowing above danger levels. Mandi district is among the worst-hit, with over 400 roads closed, homes damaged, and cars washed away.

So far, 63 people have died and 40 remain missing, while rescue operations continue.

The IMD has sounded an orange alert across multiple districts, warning of intense to extremely heavy rainfall expected on July 5 and 6.

Flash floods and landslides remain a threat, and residents are advised to stay alert and shift to safer areas.
