San Antonio, Texas, USA: A Telugu youth from Hyderabad, who had completed his master's degree in the United States and had been searching for a job for several months, has died by suicide, according to his family.

Sai Pradeep, also known as Deepu, the son of Krishna and Vijayalakshmi and a resident of Srinivasa Nagar Colony in Dammaiguda, Hyderabad, went to the US in 2024 for higher studies.

He recently completed his master's degree from Anderson University of Business and was staying with his brother in San Antonio, Texas. According to his family, Pradeep had been searching for a suitable job for around four months after completing his studies.

The family said he had been under considerable emotional distress after struggling to secure a suitable job. His brother Sai Praneeth said that Pradeep died by suicide in his room on May 21.

Following the incident, the family has appealed for financial assistance to help bring his body back to Hyderabad.
