Additionally, India has raised concerns over China's plan to build a hydropower dam on the Brahmaputra River in Tibet, fearing potential environmental and water supply impacts. While China claims the dam will not harm the environment or downstream supplies, India and Bangladesh closely monitor the situation to safeguard their interests.
