Indian Student Killed in UK in Alleged Mob Attack

Haryana, India: An Indian student has tragically lost his life in the United Kingdom after being reportedly attacked by a group of individuals.

Vijay Kumar Sheoran, 30, originally from Haryana, India, was pursuing higher studies in the UK. On November 25, he was assaulted with knives near Barbourne in Worcester. Bystanders quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Vijay Kumar was a resident of Jagrambas village in Charkhi Dadri district, Haryana. Before moving to the UK for studies, he had been employed with the Central Board of Excise and Customs in India. British authorities have classified the case as a homicide. Five suspects have been taken into custody but were later granted bail. The exact motive behind the attack remains unclear, and UK officials have not yet released detailed information regarding the investigation.

The news of Vijay’s death has left his family devastated. Charkhi Dadri MLA Satpal Sangwan expressed deep sorrow over the incident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family. He stated that efforts are being made to bring Vijay’s body back to India as soon as possible.
