The deadly fire on Bhankrota Ajmer road in Jaipur has claimed 14 lives, with 28 others injured, following a collision between an LPG tanker and a truck on Friday morning. The fire, caused by a gas leak, destroyed 37 vehicles and caused chaos on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway. The crash occurred around 5:30 am near a school, and the flames spread rapidly, affecting vehicles in both directions.

Witnesses described the incident as terrifying, with dense black smoke engulfing the sky. Emergency responders rushed the injured to SMS Hospital, and the highway was closed for hours for cleanup. President Droupadi Murmu, PM Narendra Modi, and other leaders expressed condolences, with PM Modi announcing financial aid for victims' families. Investigations are underway into the cause of the fire.
