Security forces in a joint operation eliminated two infiltrators in Bandipora’s Gurez sector after thwarting an attempt to cross the Line of Control.  Troops opened fire after spotting suspicious movement, leading to the encounter. Anti-terror operations continue.

Earlier this month, Sepoy Banoth Anil Kumar was martyred in Uri during an infiltration bid, where terrorists and Pakistani forces opened fire.

The Army paid tribute to his sacrifice. Recently, two more terrorists were killed in the same Uri sector during another foiled attempt.
