She was admitted to the ICU at Thalassery Co-operative Hospital 12 days before her death, weighing only 24 kg with critically low sugar, sodium, and blood pressure levels. Despite ventilator support, she did not recover. Doctors warn that water fasting and crash diets, though popular, are dangerous, leading to severe health issues and even death.
