Mithun Chakraborty's Wallet Stolen During Jharkhand Rally

Mithun Chakraborty wallet stolen rally

Mithun Chakraborty’s wallet was reportedly stolen during a rally in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad while campaigning for BJP candidate Aparna Sengupta. After a large roadshow, the actor-turned-politician realized his wallet was missing upon reaching the stage. Despite tight security, including a heavy police presence, the BJP denied the theft, claiming the wallet was misplaced and later found.

A viral video from the rally featured a BJP leader requesting the return of the wallet, stating it was not the culture of Nirsa. Earlier in the day, Chakraborty had led a roadshow in East Singhbhum for BJP candidate Meera Munda. Chakraborty had also faced controversy earlier this month when two FIRs were filed against him for provocative remarks during a BJP event in Kolkata. Voting for Jharkhand's 81-member assembly is set for November 13 and 20, with results to be announced on November 23.
