Patna Businessman Gopal Khemka passes away Case
BJP leader and prominent businessman Gopal Khemka was recently shot dead outside his residence near Gandhi Maidan, Patna, around 11:40 PM. He owned Magadh Hospital, a longstanding and reputed medical institution among the oldest in Bihar.
The main accused, Vikas alias Raja, who allegedly opened fire on Khemka, was killed in a police encounter on Tuesday morning in Patna’s Malsalami area after he fired at the police during a search operation. Initial reports suggest he was linked to the illegal arms trade. An SIT is investigating, and a wider search is ongoing.
