Pema Khandu Take Oath As Arunachal Pradesh CM For Third Term

Pema Khandu took oath as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive term on Thursday, following his unanimous election as the BJP Legislature Party Leader a day earlier.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Chowna Mein was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
In addition to Khandu and Chowna Mein, 10 other MLAs took oath as part of the council of ministers at the Dorjee Khandu Convention Hall in Itanagar.
The ceremony was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and several Chief Ministers from northeastern states, among other dignitaries.
The BJP secured a third consecutive victory in Arunachal Pradesh, winning 46 out of the 60 seats in the assembly.
