Tomorrow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the Sela Tunnel project. Situated on the road linking Tezpur to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, the tunnel has been built at an elevation of 13,000 feet, with a total expenditure of Rs 825 Crore. This infrastructure development is aimed at ensuring year-round connectivity to the Tawang Region of Arunachal Pradesh. The commencement of the Sela Tunnel project was marked by Prime Minister Modi laying the foundation stone on February 9, 2019, as executed by the Border Roads Organisation.
