PM Modi inaugurated the elevated stretch of Dwarka Expressway

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Haryana section of Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram. The eight-lane high-speed expressway, India's first elevated highway, is expected to improve traffic flow between Delhi and Gurugram and help reduce congestion. There are two packages in the Haryana section. From Delhi-Haryana border to Basai ROB (10.2 km), Basai ROB to Kherki Daula (Cloverleaf Interchange) (8.7 km).
This section has been constructed for 19 kilometers at a cost of Rs.4,100 crores. About 19 km of the expressway is in Haryana and the remaining 10 km is in Delhi. The high-speed expressway starts from Shiv-Murthy on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.Kherki ends near Daula Toll Plaza.It passes through Delhi's Dwarka Sector 21, Gurugram border, Basai.
It is a 9 km long, 34 meter wide eight-lane elevated road on a single pillar, the first of its kind in the country. Construction has been scheduled in four phases. First, Bijwasan from Shiva Murthy in Mahipalpur in Delhi region (5.9 km), second from Bijwasan ROB to Delhi-Haryana border Gurugram (4.2 km), third from Delhi-Haryana border to Basai ROB in Haryana region (10.2 km). until ), the fourth from Basai ROB to Kherki Daula (Cloverleaf Interchange) (8.7 km).
