PM Modi Inaugurates Rs 9,000 Cr Projects In Mizoram And Manipur

PM Modi visited Mizoram, Assam, and Manipur to inaugurate development projects worth Rs 9,000 crore. In Mizoram, he inaugurated the Bairabi–Sairang railway line, the state’s first railway station at Sairang, and flagged off three trains.
In Manipur, his first visit since 2023’s ethnic violence, he visited Churachandpur and Imphal, inaugurating projects including roads, National Highways, and women’s hostels. He also addressed public meetings, emphasizing inclusive development.
“From 13–15 September, I will attend programmes across Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar to boost connectivity, jobs, and ease of living,” PM Modi said.
