Prajwal Revanna Gets Life Imprisonment
Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Mysuru special court for assaulting a household employee. who accused him of rape, threats, and psychological abuse using recorded videos.
With four rape cases pending, Prajwal had already spent 14 months in custody. The court also directed him to pay ₹5 lakh in fines and ₹7 lakh in compensation to the survivor’s family.
While maintaining his innocence, Prajwal broke down emotionally in court and alleged the charges were part of a politically driven conspiracy.
