In Dausa, Rajasthan, 11 people, including seven children, died and several were injured when a pick-up returning from Khatu Shyam and Salasar Balaji temples collided with a trailer truck on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway early Wednesday. The injured were taken to SMS Hospital, Jaipur.

In another incident in Jalore’s Sanchore, two people were killed when a bus hit their motorcycle.  After striking a road divider, the bus erupted in flames, but swift evacuation ensured every passenger escaped unharmed, while authorities worked to determine what sparked the blaze.
