He is scheduled for angiography on Tuesday to check for any cardiac issues. If the results are normal, he will be discharged. His health has improved since Monday night but he remains under observation in the ICU.

Devnani had recently attended the All India Presiding Officers' Conference in Patna, where he complained of chest pain and was initially treated at Patna Medical College's Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology. Though angiography was suggested, Devnani declined, citing a previous procedure.

The Rajasthan government sent a special charter plane to bring him back to Jaipur, along with doctors and family members, where he was admitted to SMS Hospital. State Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar visited Devnani in the ICU on Tuesday morning to inquire about his condition. Devnani, who regularly walks five kilometers daily, had no prior health issues.
