Schools, colleges, and educational institutions in 14 districts of Odisha will remain closed from October 23-25 due to a possible cyclonic storm, as per an official order. The IMD reported that a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression, potentially becoming a severe cyclonic storm by October 25, impacting Odisha and West Bengal. The districts affected include Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Angul, Nayagarh, Cuttack, and Khurda.
