Heavy rains in Sikkim have caused severe disruptions, leading to landslides and floods in North Sikkim. Key roads like Lachen-Chungtang and Lema/Bab are closed due to fallen trees and power lines. The weather has worsened, with landslides affecting around 100 km from Gangtok to Chungtang. Traffic has been suspended in Chungthang, leaving over 1,000 tourists stranded. Authorities have relocated the tourists to safer areas.
