SKM is booming in Sikkim, winning 31 out of 32 seats

In Sikkim, the ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha came to power for the second time.The party won 31 of the total 32 seats, while the Sikkim Democratic Front won one.16 seats are required to form the government in that state.Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang won the election from Renak assembly seat.In the election results released on Sunday, the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) was limited to only one seat.

Pawan Kumar Chamling, who is the president of that party and has served as chief minister five times, has been defeated in both places.The national parties BJP and Congress could not win even a single seat.The current CM Prem Singh Tamang, who gained popularity through his rule of eight years, will once again assume power.
