Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences to be inaugurated on March 19

The date for the inauguration of the Sanathnagar TIMS (Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences) hospital, built by the government to provide corporate-level super-specialty medicine to the poor completely free of cost, has been fixed. State Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha announced that the hospital will be inaugurated and dedicated to the people on March 19 on the occasion of Ugadi.
The minister held a high-level review at the Arogyasri Trust office in Hyderabad on Thursday. He directed the officials to complete the civil works, installation of equipment and recruitment of staff by the second week of March and make the hospital fully ready by the inauguration ceremony. The officials informed the minister that the infrastructure work of this hospital, built with a capacity of 1000 beds, has reached the final stage. He said that 16 of the most crucial operation theatres are ready for surgeries.
