Telangana Man Injured in Iranian Missile Strike Near Abu Dhabi Airport

Telangana man injured Abu Dhabi attack

Rajanna Sircilla, Telangana, India: Growing tensions in the Gulf region have left many foreign workers worried about their safety. Among those affected is a worker from Telangana who was seriously injured during an attack near Abu Dhabi airport in the United Arab Emirates.

Reports indicate that the injured individual has been identified as N. Rajeswara Rao, a resident of Pothireddypalle village in Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana. He had moved to Abu Dhabi several years ago to support his family and was employed in the housekeeping department at the airport.

According to his family members, Rajeswara Rao sustained serious injuries during a missile attack reportedly carried out by Iran near the airport premises. His parents said he contacted them through a video call after the incident but did not show the extent of his injuries.

His father, Prabhakar Rao, stated that his son has been working at the airport for some time and informed them about the attack shortly after it occurred. The family is now hoping that he will return home safely.

Rajeswara Rao’s brother said the missile strike shattered the airport’s glass windows, and fragments of the broken glass struck his brother in the chest and right arm, causing severe injuries. Although Rajeswara Rao managed to call the family after the incident, they later learned that his condition was serious.

The family has appealed to the Telangana government and Indian authorities to assist in bringing him back to India safely.

The incident has created concern in Rajanna Sircilla district and other parts of Telangana, as many residents from the state work in Gulf countries for employment. Their families in India are increasingly worried due to the rising instability in the region.

Tensions have escalated following recent military actions involving Israel, the United States, and Iran. Several countries in the Gulf region have reported missile and drone attacks, while many nations have temporarily restricted their airspace, disrupting flight operations.

Amid the uncertainty, some Indian nationals have already started returning home. A group of passengers recently arrived in Hyderabad from Saudi Arabia and reported that they had not faced major difficulties during their journey.

However, with the ongoing conflict and continued retaliatory attacks in the region, many Indian workers in Gulf countries remain concerned about their safety.
