Telangana Student Found Dead in UK While Pursuing MS at University of Leicester

Telangana student Srinath Reddy, pursuing an MS in the UK

Leicester (United Kingdom): A 25-year-old student from Telangana, who had travelled to the United Kingdom for higher education, was found dead, leaving his family and native village in deep shock.

The deceased has been identified as Savusani Srinath Reddy, a resident of Talamadla village in Rajampet mandal of Kamareddy district. According to family members, Srinath moved to the UK last year to pursue higher studies and was enrolled in the second year of an MS programme at the University of Leicester.

Reports indicate that Srinath attended a friend's birthday celebration two days ago and stayed there overnight. In the early hours of the following morning, his friends reportedly found him unresponsive and informed his relatives, who later conveyed the tragic news to his parents.

Srinath was the son of Madhusudhan Reddy and Manjula Reddy. News of his sudden demise has left family members, relatives and residents of his native village grief-stricken.

The bereaved family has appealed to the government to extend necessary assistance in bringing Srinath's mortal remains back to his native village in Telangana at the earliest.

The exact cause of death has not yet been officially disclosed.
