Detroit, Michigan: Nithyananda Reddy (26), a native of Narsapur (W) village in Lakshmanchanda mandal of Telangana's Nirmal district, has passed away after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident in the United States.

After completing his Master's degree in the US, Nithyananda had settled in Detroit, Michigan, where he was employed as a software professional. According to available information, he was riding his motorcycle when a car reportedly collided with him on Saturday, leaving him critically injured.

Friends who were with him immediately shifted him to a nearby hospital, where he remained under intensive medical care. Despite the doctors' efforts, he was declared brain dead and passed away on Thursday.

His family members in India have been informed about the tragedy. The news of his untimely demise has cast a pall of gloom over his native village and the surrounding region, with relatives, friends, and well-wishers mourning the loss.
