Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana, India: A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the murder of Telangana native Kuncha Anshul (28) in Philadelphia, United States. According to police, the juvenile suspect was taken into custody on July 10 and has been charged with murder and burglary. Authorities are continuing their search for another individual believed to have been involved in the incident.

Anshul was fatally attacked on June 5 while delivering pizzas in North Philadelphia. Police said he had responded to a delivery request at a residence on Edgley Street, where he was allegedly ambushed by unidentified assailants and shot.

He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died while undergoing treatment. Investigators believe the suspects intentionally placed the pizza order to lure the victim to the location before carrying out the attack. The investigation remains ongoing.

Kuncha Anshul was a resident of Gundlapochampally in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Telangana. He moved to the United States in 2023. Family members said he worked as a pizza delivery driver on weekends to earn additional income while living in the US.
