Uttarakhand Landslide: 10 Missing As Heavy Rains Hit Chamoli

Heavy rains in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, triggered a landslide on September 18, destroying six homes in Nandanagar and leaving 10 people missing. Teams from SDRF and NDRF have reached the location to carry out rescue operations.
Around 2,500 tourists were stranded in Mussoorie as roads remained closed; hotels offered free stay. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is overseeing relief operations, ensuring safe relocation, medical aid, and supply distribution.
Elsewhere, floods in Hyderabad, Latur, and Punjab caused casualties, stranded people, and traffic chaos. IMD issued a yellow alert for Delhi due to rain and strong winds.
