Ludhiana, Punjab, India: A significant fire broke out on the Garib Rath train earlier today. According to reports, the train traveling from Ludhiana to Delhi caught fire due to an electrical short circuit in coach number 19 as it neared Sirhind railway station.

Within a matter of minutes, three coaches were completely engulfed in flames. One passenger sustained serious injuries during the incident. In response, other passengers pulled the emergency chain and safely disembarked from the train.

The railway police have filed a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the fire. Authorities are currently working on restoring the affected coaches and assessing the full extent of the damage.
