High altitude para sports centre Ladakh

The world’s first high-altitude para sports centre will be established in Leh, Ladakh, to train para-athletes for international competitions, including the 2028 Paralympics. The centre will offer world-class training and a unique high-altitude advantage. In the interim, the Aditya Mehta Foundation will screen and train potential athletes from Ladakh at their Hyderabad academy. The centre will include a wide range of sports, and a committee is overseeing its development, with land identification underway.
