iPhone 16 Pro Max price in India launch details

At Apple's flagship hardware launch event on Monday, the company unveiled its latest smartphones: the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro Max boasts a 6.9-inch screen, making it the largest iPhone ever produced. The iPhone 16 Pro features a 6.3-inch screen, marking a clear distinction between Pro and non-Pro models.

Both new models are powered by the A18 Pro chip, which enhances Apple Intelligence and supports AAA gaming. The iPhone 16 Pro is priced at Rs 1,19,900, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is available for Rs 1,44,900. Pre-orders have started, and sales will begin on September 20.

CEO Steve Jobs highlighted these iPhones as being designed specifically for Apple's advanced intelligence capabilities. The devices feature high-end materials, including a titanium frame and improved Ceramic Shield glass.

They both have a triple-camera system with a 48 MP primary wide-angle lens, a 48 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, along with support for 4K video recording at up to 120fps. The iPhone 16 Pro Max also includes the largest battery ever in an iPhone, though its exact size hasn't been disclosed.

The A18 Pro chip, a 3nm processor, features a 16-core neural engine, a six-core GPU, and a six-core CPU, which Apple claims is the fastest CPU on any smartphone. This chip enables significant improvements in on-device AI tasks and gaming performance, with a 15 percent speed boost over the previous generation iPhone 15 Pro.
