San Francisco, USA: Indian-origin software developer Aman Gottumukkala has announced that he is joining billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, marking a new step in his career in advanced AI development.

Aman recently gained attention after launching Firebender, an AI-powered coding assistant developed with his team. The tool is designed to help programmers write code more efficiently and improve productivity through artificial intelligence.

Sharing the update on social media, Aman confirmed that he will be joining xAI to contribute to the development of advanced coding AI systems. He said the company offers the right environment and computing power needed to build next-generation artificial intelligence technologies.

According to Aman, xAI provides the infrastructure necessary to work toward breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and access powerful computing capabilities required for advanced AI research. His announcement also received a response from Elon Musk, who welcomed him to the team.

Aman Gottumukkala completed his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University between 2017 and 2021. Before enrolling in the university, he studied at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science.

Prior to launching Firebender, Aman worked as a software engineer at Paradigm, where he gained experience in advanced technology development. Over the years, he has also worked on several projects related to technology and cryptocurrency systems.

Although Aman is of Indian origin, his family moved to the United States several decades ago, where he pursued his education and career in technology.

His move to Elon Musk’s xAI highlights the growing role of Indian-origin engineers in shaping the future of artificial intelligence globally.
