Tech giant Google has announced a unique opportunity for its Pixel enthusiasts through a newly launched initiative called the “Trusted Tester Program.” Under this program, selected “Superfans” will get a chance to try out upcoming Pixel devices before their official release.

The aim of this initiative is to collect firsthand feedback from dedicated Pixel users about the new hardware and use their insights to enhance future products.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Google plans to select around 15 applicants for this exclusive program. Those chosen will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and will receive the test devices in special protective covers provided by Google. Apart from demonstrating a strong knowledge and passion for Pixel phones, participants must also contribute suggestions to improve both hardware and software experiences.

Typically, tech companies conduct internal testing before launching their new products. However, Google has decided to take a different approach this time by involving its loyal fan community directly in the process.

While the company has not yet disclosed the official testing timeline, new Pixel models are usually launched in August each year. Based on this schedule, beta testing is expected to take place between February and April 2026.
