Vivo V70, Vivo T5x 5G Appear on BIS Database, Hinting at Upcoming India Release

Vivo is reportedly preparing the Vivo V70 as the next model in the V-series lineup, following the Vivo V60 introduced in August. Ahead of its official announcement, the smartphone has surfaced on a certification platform, suggesting that its India launch is also on the way. Alongside the V70, another unidentified Vivo device has been spotted, which—according to a reliable tipster—could be the upcoming Vivo T5x 5G.

A Vivo device (shared by tipster @ZionsAnvin) has been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under the model number V2538, which is believed to correspond to the Vivo V70. The listing, dated December 8, does not disclose any technical details but does confirm that the handset is nearing its India launch.

Although Vivo has not revealed the phone’s specifications, earlier leaks suggest that the V70 might be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50, which will debut in China on December 15.

The Vivo V70 has also appeared on Geekbench, showing an octa-core processor with a 2.80GHz prime core, four 2.40GHz performance cores, and four 1.84GHz efficiency cores. The benchmark listing mentions an Adreno 722 GPU, confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Besides the V70, another model numbered V2545 has been seen on the BIS platform. The same tipster claims that this model may be the Vivo T5x 5G, expected to succeed the Vivo T4x 5G launched earlier this year. Technical details for this device have not been revealed yet, but it is anticipated to offer upgraded features compared to the previous T-series model.

The Vivo T4x 5G, launched at ?13,499, features a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It includes a dual rear-camera setup (50MP main + 2MP depth) and a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
