England women’s cricket team star wicketkeeper-batter Amy Jones has married Australian cricketer Peepa Cleary in a private ceremony held in Western Australia.
The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2022, got engaged in July last year before officially tying the knot on May 4. Amy Jones shared glimpses of their wedding celebrations on social media, drawing warm wishes from fans and the cricketing community.
The wedding ceremony was attended by several England women’s team players. Jones and Cleary first met during the Women's Big Bash League 2023 season, where both represented the Perth Scorchers.
Amy Jones, who made her international debut in 2013, has been a consistent performer for England. She has played over 100 One Day Internationals, scoring 2,659 runs at an average of 32.82, and remains a key figure in the squad.
