Harmanpreet Kaur Becomes First Woman Cricketer Honoured with Wax Statue in Jaipur

Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India’s women’s cricket team, is set to be immortalized with a wax statue at the renowned Wax Museum in Jaipur. She will join the ranks of cricket legends like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar, becoming the first female cricketer to be featured.

The Jaipur Wax Museum, situated within the historic Nahargarh Fort in Rajasthan, is already a popular attraction for tourists from across the country. The addition of Harmanpreet Kaur’s statue is expected to draw even more visitors.

Anoop Srivastava, the museum’s founder and director, commented, “Harmanpreet Kaur has played a crucial role in elevating Indian women’s cricket on the global stage. Her passion, leadership, and determination inspire countless young girls, which is why we wanted to honor her with a statue.”
