Following the conclusion of the 2026 edition of the IPL, Team India is set to embark on a packed international calendar featuring multiple bilateral assignments.

India will begin with a home series against Afghanistan in June, comprising a one-off Test and a three-match ODI series. This will be followed by a short tour of Ireland, where the Men in Blue will play two T20 Internationals.

Subsequently, India will travel to England for a white-ball series that includes five T20Is and three ODIs. The England tour is scheduled to commence on July 1 and conclude on July 19.

Shortly after the England series, India will tour Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series. The schedule for this series has been officially released by Zimbabwe Cricket.

The India vs Zimbabwe T20I series will be played over a span of four days, beginning on July 23 and concluding on July 26. Notably, this marks the first bilateral series between the two nations since 2024.

Given the tight international schedule, senior Indian players are expected to be rested for the Zimbabwe tour. This opens opportunities for emerging talents, particularly those who have delivered strong performances in the IPL.

Among the players likely to be in focus is young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is reportedly set to make his international debut at just 15 years of age.
