India vs South Africa 2nd ODI

Team India is on track for a massive score in the second ODI against South Africa, thanks to spectacular performances from Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Kohli continued his remarkable form by scoring his second consecutive century, while the young Gaikwad impressed with his maiden international hundred.

The match, held in Raipur, saw South Africa winning the toss and opting to bowl first. Kohli, who had already scored a century in the first ODI in Ranchi, did not disappoint. He reached his 53rd ODI century off just 90 balls, including 7 boundaries and 2 sixes. At the other end, Gaikwad displayed brilliance with his first career century, scoring 105 runs off 77 balls, hitting 12 fours and 2 sixes. His innings was eventually ended by South African bowler Yansen.

Together, Kohli and Gaikwad stitched a formidable 195-run partnership for the third wicket. India finished the 38th over at 275 for 3, with Kohli and captain Rahul still at the crease. Having already won the first ODI of the three-match series in Ranchi, India could seal the series with another victory today.
