Devanakonda scientist Virendra Brahmachari

Devanakonda, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh: Virendra Brahmachari, son of Ramakrishna and Kalavathamma of Devanakonda in Kurnool district, has been appointed Vice President of Nurix, a US-based biotechnology company, according to his family members and friends.

Brahmachari completed his schooling up to Class 10 at ZP High School in Devanakonda. He later pursued his PhD at Osmania University in Hyderabad before moving to the United States in 2000.

After moving to the US, he developed his career as a scientist through research work at universities. He is now taking on a key leadership responsibility at Nurix, a biotechnology company focused on developing novel drugs for cancer-related diseases.

Speaking recently at Osmania University in Hyderabad, Brahmachari expressed his happiness about taking up the new responsibility. He said he hoped to contribute to the development of better treatment options for patients in the future.

His appointment has brought recognition to Devanakonda and Kurnool district, with family members and friends expressing pride in his achievement.
