A tragic incident has come to light in the United States, where P.V. Kiran, son of senior CPM leader M.A. Gafoor, died of a heart attack in California. However, his family learned of his death nearly 10 days later, as he was living alone.
Kiran, who studied at IIT Madras and New York University, was working as a Senior Data Scientist at PayPal. His death went unnoticed for several days due to his living alone, and the news reached his family only after approximately 10 days.
