Deadly Train Collision in Jharkhand: Three Die in Fire After Goods Trains Crash

A serious train accident occurred in Sahibganj, Jharkhand, when two goods trains collided, leading to a fire that engulfed two engines. Three people, including the loco pilots, tragically lost their lives in the blaze. The incident, which occurred at 3:30 AM, also left three CISF jawans injured. The collision happened when a goods train traveling from Farakka to Lalmatia crashed into another goods train stationed at Barhet. Firefighters worked hard to control the blaze.

This comes just a day after another accident in Odisha, where the Kamakhya Express derailed near Nergundi station in Cuttack. One person was killed, and several others were injured when 11 coaches of the Bengaluru-Kamakhya Express went off track.
