The Dheeraj archery squad from Vijayawada clinched the silver medal at the National Senior Archery Recurve Championship.

The Vijayawada-based team led by Dheeraj delivered a strong performance to claim second place in the National Senior Archery Recurve Championship. Competing in the team final on Wednesday, the Services unit captained by Dheeraj and comprising Sukh Chain, Rahul, and Sachin Tendulkar was defeated 2-6 by Maharashtra, finishing with the silver medal. The Railways team earned the bronze position. In the women’s team category, Maharashtra secured gold, Jharkhand finished with silver, and Uttar Pradesh claimed the bronze medal.
