Motorola has officially confirmed that its upcoming premium smartphone, the Motorola Signature, will debut in India on January 23. The device will be sold exclusively through Flipkart, one of the country’s top e-commerce platforms. The handset was recently showcased by Motorola at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 event.
Flipkart has already gone live with a dedicated microsite for the Motorola Signature, offering a preview of its key specifications. The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm, highlighting its flagship-level performance.
Display and Audio Features
The Motorola Signature is equipped with a 6.8-inch Super HD LTPO AMOLED screen. It delivers a resolution of 1,264 x 2,780 pixels, supports a 165Hz refresh rate, offers a pixel density of 450 ppi, and reaches a peak brightness of 6,200 nits. Additional enhancements such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Sound by Bose further elevate the multimedia experience.
Camera, Design, and Build
On the photography front, the device features a triple rear camera system. The standout sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 lens that supports 3.5x optical zoom. The phone maintains a slim profile at just 6.99mm, comes with an aluminium frame, and weighs approximately 186 grams.
Battery and Software
The handset draws power from a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. On the software side, it runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI layered on top.
Expected Pricing
As for pricing, the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant carries a box price of Rs 84,999, though the final retail price is expected to be slightly lower. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is likely to be priced near Rs 82,000. Motorola is set to announce the official pricing details on launch day.
Color Options and Market Position
The Motorola Signature Pantone edition will be offered in premium shades such as Martini, Olive, and Karbon. With its refined design, strong hardware, and top-tier features, the smartphone is positioned to compete in the premium flagship segment.
