The Government of India has introduced a new indigenous messaging application, Hyped Samvadini, aimed at strengthening the country’s digital communication ecosystem. Developed by an AI team under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), operating under the Union Ministry of Education, the app is designed to ensure that Indian user data remains within the country without reliance on foreign platforms.

Available on both Android and iOS devices, Hyped Samvadini places strong emphasis on user privacy and data protection. The platform incorporates advanced security features that distinguish it from conventional messaging applications.

One of its key highlights is the ‘SIM and Device Binding’ feature, which helps prevent SIM swap fraud. The application immediately alerts users if there is any unauthorized SIM change or login attempt from another device. Additionally, the introduction of ‘dynamic chat IDs’ allows users to connect without revealing their phone numbers, enhancing privacy, especially for women and individuals seeking secure communication.

Another notable feature is its multilingual capability. The app offers real-time translation across 22 official Indian languages along with support for more than 50 international languages. This functionality enables users to communicate seamlessly across language barriers by instantly translating messages into their preferred language.

To further enhance safety, the app includes features such as One-Tap SOS alerts and live location sharing, which are particularly beneficial for women and elderly users. It also provides the option to import existing WhatsApp chats, ensuring a smooth transition for new users.

In addition, the integrated ‘Deci AI Gen Z Keyboard’ enhances the messaging experience with smart typing and gesture-based input. With end-to-end encryption in place, Hyped Samvadini ensures that all user conversations remain private and secure.
