Honda 0A Electric SUV Concept Unveiled for India Launch

Honda Electric SUV Concept: When Will It Launch in India?

Tokyo, Japan: Japanese auto major Honda Motor Company has revealed its latest innovation in electric mobility — the Honda 0A (Alpha), a next-generation electric SUV concept. The unveiling took place at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. According to company sources, this model is expected to be released globally by 2027, with launches planned for Japan and India. If the India launch goes ahead as expected, it will mark Honda’s first fully electric SUV in the Indian market.

Speaking at the event, Toshihiro Mibe, the President and CEO of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability. He stated that Honda’s ultimate vision is to achieve carbon neutrality across all products and operations by 2050. Acknowledging that the global EV market still faces uncertainties, Mibe emphasized that the transition toward electric mobility is inevitable. “We are ready to deliver compelling electric vehicles tailored for the new era of electrification,” he said.

Earlier this year, Honda introduced the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV models. The addition of the Honda 0A further expands the brand’s ‘Honda 0’ lineup, which symbolizes the company’s commitment to a net-zero future. Honda has also announced plans to roll out several electric models in India in the near future, reinforcing its strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
