After a 25-year presence in India, Skoda Auto India has reintroduced the all-new Octavia RS, a model that blends sporty aesthetics, modern technology, and precision engineering. Priced at Rs 49,99,000 (ex-showroom), the limited edition of just 100 units sold out within the first 20 minutes of pre-booking.

The deliveries for this hotly anticipated model are set to begin on November 6. Its design features aerodynamic contours, a bold front grille, red brake calipers, and the iconic R badge. Inside, buyers can expect sports seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster for a premium driving experience.

Under the hood, the Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine producing 245bhp and 370Nm of torque. Paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.

The vehicle is equipped with advanced safety technologies including 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and a 360-degree Area View Camera. It will be available in five striking colours and comes with a four-year or 1,00,000 km warranty, along with four years of complimentary roadside assistance.
