Firing at a polling station in Manipur

1. As part of the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Manipur, polling is going on in two constituencies, Inner Manipur and Outer Manipur.
2. Unidentified assailants opened fire at a polling station near a polling station in Thamanpokpi, Moirang segment of Manipur.
3. No one was hurt
4. The firing caused panic among the voters who lined up to exercise their right to vote
5.   A video of people running out of the polling booth amid the sound of gunfire has gone viral  24 per cent polling till 11 am

Polling officials claimed that 24 percent polling has been recorded in 102 seats till 11 am.
