Recently, some parts of North India experienced an earthquake. This morning, tremors were felt in the eastern region of the country. An earthquake struck the Bay of Bengal near Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and Kolkata. The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter scale.

Apart from Kolkata, tremors were also felt in several parts of West Bengal and Odisha. As a result, people in these regions were gripped with fear and panic.Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or property damage due to the earthquake. The epicenter was located 175 km from Odisha, and its impact was also observed in Bangladesh.
