Indians have emerged from the midst of the unrest in Iran, but what happened?

Iran protests

Iran protests news: Several Indians from Iran have returned home safely. They arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday night following a warning issued by the Indian government. They thanked the Union Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing them safely to India in this difficult time.

Protests have been raging across Iran since late December last year due to the economic crisis and currency collapse. He said that the deteriorating security situation and the complete shutdown of internet services have caused great hardship to the Indian people living there. Their relatives in India were worried as they had severed ties with their family members.

In this context, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Tehran (Iran protests news) office has issued several warnings. Indian nationals are advised to travel to India by available commercial flights. Many of them returned to India on those instructions.

An Indian who has returned home said, "The situation there is very bad. The Government of India and the Embassy have kept us on constant alert. We have come back safely because Modi ji is there," he said. Another person said, "We couldn't talk to the family for three days because there was no internet. It has become dangerous to go out," he said.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, there are currently around 9,000 Indians, including students, in Iran. The government is taking all measures for their safety and welfare and the situation is being continuously monitored, officials said
