Mega DSC 2026 in Andhra Pradesh: 2,500 Teacher Posts

Mega DSC 2026 in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced that it will conduct the DSC (District Selection Committee) examination every year. In line with this, the state government is once again preparing to fill teacher vacancies. A DSC notification for 2,500 posts is being prepared for release in February. The notification is likely to be released in the first week of February, covering approximately 2,500 posts. The vacancies have arisen due to retirements and the establishment of model schools. This time, the DSC examination will include additional papers on English and computer awareness.

This recruitment process is being undertaken due to the existing vacancies. Previously, GO 117 was cancelled. Along with this, the government introduced nine types of schools and converted 9,200 primary schools into model primary schools, implementing the rule of one teacher per class. In this context, it was identified that an additional 1,146 teachers are needed. Combining these vacancies with others, a new DSC notification will be issued for a total of 2,500 teacher posts. Officials are preparing to release the DSC 2026 notification in the second week of February. The TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) has already been conducted and the results have been released.
