Nitish Kumar Lalu Yadav Bihar Assembly attack
In the Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar intensified his criticism of Lalu Yadav, accusing him of appointing his wife, Rabri Devi, as Chief Minister in 1997 while he was jailed in the fodder scam. Kumar claimed that the RJD did nothing for women's empowerment, responding to opposition protests over rising violence against women. He highlighted his government's proactive measures in addressing criminal incidents. Nitish also reminded the Opposition that he had helped Lalu rise politically, despite initial opposition from his community.
