The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has forecast light to moderate rains in the Telugu states over the next three days due to a trough from Rayalaseema to the central Bay of Bengal. Heavy rains are expected in Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Peddapalli, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad districts. Officials warned farmers and agricultural laborers to avoid sheltering under trees due to the risk of lightning. Additionally, heavy rains are expected in Andhra Pradesh, including Kakinada, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR district, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nellore, Nandyala, Sri Sathyasai, Kadapa, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts, due to the active southwest monsoon and Droni effect.
