Telangana Jagruthi Makes Big Win in Panchayat Elections, All Supported Sarpanchs Win

Telangana Jagruthi Secures Wins in First Phase of Sarpanch Elections

Hyderabad, Telangana, India: Telangana Jagruthi made a notable entry in the initial phase of the panchayat elections held on December 11, with all its endorsed candidates winning sarpanch positions. This marks a significant start for the organisation’s political journey.

Shankar, backed by Jagruthi in Tadi Biloli of Renjal mandal, emerged victorious as sarpanch. Other winners include Chand from Minarpalli, Tara from Bodhan, Sumalata Jadhav from Virannagutta Tanda of Renjal, Kamalakar from Rampur in Navipet mandal, and Tirupati Lalitha Hanumandlu from Renjal village, all securing their respective sarpanch posts.

Kavitha, who left BRS, has been actively strengthening Telangana Jagruthi. The organisation continues to run various community outreach and cultural programs under her leadership, with her focus entirely on Jagruthi’s activities.

Founded in 2006 by Kavitha, Telangana Jagruthi has a history of hosting cultural and social events across the state. Recent speculation suggests that she might launch her own political party soon. Observers believe that these local body election wins could be a test run ahead of a bigger political initiative.

For Kavitha, the results are encouraging, as she has frequently spoken about her ambition to become the Chief Minister of Telangana. Having left BRS, where her influence was largely confined to Nizamabad, she is now broadening her reach across the state to build a stronger political base for the future.
